Service Description

Family Claytime Come get muddy together! This fun, all-ages class is perfect for kids and adults who want to explore pottery side by side. You'll get hands-on with both wheel throwing and hand-building techniques. Choose from a variety of creative hand-building projects or try, such as mugs, plates, planters and sculptures, or your hand at the potter’s wheel. Each participant will get to keep 2–4 finished pieces, depending on size. Whether you're a total beginner or just ready to get messy and make memories, this class is for you. *this is RRCC’s only mixed use class (other than BYOB night) where we allow both wheel throwing and hand building during class. Clients have the choice to not do one or the other! Objects take 3 weeks to go through a bisque kiln. Items must be picked up or glazed within 60 days after firing. Glaze firing takes another 2-3 weeks.
