Class Description: Advanced Pottery Topics and Shapes Our Advanced Pottery Topics and Shapes class, designed exclusively for experienced potters seeking to elevate their skills to new heights. **Course Highlights:** 1. **Teacher-Led Exploration:** Our experienced instructor will guide you through advanced pottery techniques, offering personalized feedback and insights to help you refine your craft. 2. **Inspiration in Clay:** Bring your creativity to life by bringing in inspirational photos or sketches. Our class encourages you to draw from various sources to recreate and personalize your creations. 3. **Diverse Shapes and Forms:** Explore a range of challenging pottery shapes, including but not limited to donut vases, chip and dip bowls, and other intricate forms. Unleash your imagination and master the skills required to bring these complex shapes to life in clay. 4. **All-Inclusive Supplies:** Your class fee covers all necessary supplies, including high-quality clay and firing fees. Focus solely on honing your craft without the worry of additional expenses. Depending on final size of projects, participants can keep 2-4 pieces 5. **Extended Studio Time:** To ensure you have ample time to perfect your pieces, we provide an additional 3 hours of studio time beyond regular class hours. This allows you to refine details, experiment with glazes, and bring your vision to fruition. Please see instructor for more information on available dates and times to finish your pot. **Who Should Attend:** This class is exclusively designed for experienced potters who are comfortable with fundamental techniques and are eager to challenge themselves with advanced projects. If you have a passion for pushing the boundaries of traditional pottery and want to refine your skills under guidance, this class is perfect for you. **Projects take two weeks to go through a bisque kiln. Come back within 60 days to glaze your pot (included) and it will take one more pass through the kiln to finally go to its forever home.
