**4-Week Wheel Throwing Course** Ready to go deeper than a single session? This 4-week course walks you through every stage of the pottery-making process, giving you the skills and confidence to create stunning handmade pieces from start to finish. **What You'll Learn** *Weeks 1 & 2 — Foundations* Get comfortable at the wheel as we cover the fundamentals of throwing a cylinder, trimming, and working safely and efficiently in a ceramics studio. *Weeks 3 & 4 — Advanced Techniques* Build on your skills with more complex forms, including lidded containers, closed forms, and collared vessels. **What's Included** All clay, glazes, and firing fees are covered in the course price. Studio tools and equipment are available for use throughout the class. Each participant can expect to take home 3–5 pieces per week. **What to Bring** - You're welcome to bring your own tools — please make sure they are clearly labeled. - Aprons are provided, but please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. - Long hair should be tied back, and keeping fingernails trimmed is recommended. **A Few Important Notes** 🔥 *Glaze Day:* Glazing takes place during Week 4. Because pieces need adequate drying time before bisque firing, not all work will be ready to glaze by that date. You are welcome to return on open glaze nights (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:30–8:30 PM) or during a future session to finish your remaining pieces. 📅 *Missed Classes:* Make-ups are available during any regularly scheduled wheel throwing class that has open spots, at the instructor's discretion. **Attendance at the first class is required.** Please contact your instructor to arrange a make-up day. 📦 *Picking Up Your Work:* Finished pieces will be held for two months after your class ends. Please make sure to pick up and/or glaze your work within that time.
