Hand Building Water Fountains

Service Description

Hand-Built Ceramic Water Fountains CLASS DATES: November 29th & 30th 1-4pm or December 20th & 21st 2-5pm **A two-day (6hr-3 hours per day)creative workshop for sculpting, assembling, and glazing your own working tabletop fountain.** Discover the meditative magic of moving water, and ceramics! — and make your own one-of-a-kind ceramic fountain from start to finish. In this **two-day class (6 hours total)**, you’ll learn how to hand-build large, functional forms (water fountains) using **slabs and our wall-mounted extruder**, then glaze your piece to create a beautiful, durable finish. Each participant will create a **fully functional tabletop or garden-style water fountain**, complete with a **small water pump (included in the class fee)**. We’ll focus on structural stability, flow design, and aesthetic composition — so whether you’re drawn to organic, sculptural forms or clean, modern lines, your fountain will be truly your own. Heck we can even make smaller cat/dog water fountains! **All supplies are included** — clay, glaze, firing, and water pump. Because of the size and drying needs of these projects, **please allow 30 days for bisque firing and 30 days for glaze firing** before pickup. This workshop is open to all experience levels — no prior clay experience required, just curiosity and creativity! Ages 10 and up will do best due to the larger nature of these water fountains
