This is a SINGLE DAY registration PM Classes will choose from the outlines below from the Mon/Wed/Fri format PRESS START: GAME ON POTTERY CAMP Day 1 – Video Game World: Pixel art tiles, mushroom and coin sculptures, character dishes, and controller-shaped trays. Day 2 – Board Game Classics: Checkerboard dishes, mancala boards with carved pits, and chess or checker pieces. Day 3 – Design Your Own Game: Invent a game and build the pieces — dice, tokens, a board tile, and your own playing pieces. PRESS START: GAME ON POTTERY CAMP Your favorite games. Built by your hands. Fired in a kiln. In this hands-on summer camp, young artists will bring the games they love to life in clay — and maybe invent a few new ones. Campers will use both hand building and wheel throwing techniques to create functional ceramic pieces inspired by: 🎮 Video Game World – Press pixel designs into clay slabs, sculpt iconic mushrooms and coins, and build controller-shaped dishes and character tiles straight out of your favorite games. ♟️ Board Game Classics – Carve a mancala board with real pits, build a checkerboard dish, and sculpt chess or checker pieces you can actually play with. 🕹️ Design Your Own Game – Got an idea for a game no one has ever played? Build the pieces for it. Dice, tokens, a board tile, a playing piece. If you can imagine the game, you can build the world it lives in. Each day is a mix of clay work, creative problem solving, and the very serious business of making things you can actually use. Campers will take home their fired and finished game pieces as proof that the best games are the ones you make yourself. All materials, tools, firing and glazing fees are included. Please dress to get messy. Aprons will be provided. Please pack a lunch and/or snack items and water bottles. Expect campers to keep 8-10 items created during the week or 2-3 daily. All items created take 1-2 weeks to fire. Items must be picked up/glazed within 60 days. This is a drop off half day camp for ages 7-18. This is for a single day registration - $85
